For ICD Programme:

  • Entry in 1st year of ICD: Admission to ICD (Integrated Certificate-Diploma) programme is through All India SLIET Entrance Test (SET-I).  Eligibility for admission is Matric (10th) pass in English, Mathematics and Science is compulsory.
  • Provision of voluntarily exit after successfully completing 2 years (with requisite number of credits) of ICD Programme.
  • Diploma will be awarded to students who will complete 3 years of ICD with the prescribed credits as per teaching scheme successfully. 50% of the SLIET Diploma holders fulfilling the requisite criteria will be promoted to 2nd year of B.E. on the basis of All India SLIET Entrance Test (SET) conducted by SLIET, Longowal.
For SET 1A:

  • Provision of entry in 2nd year of ICD: For admission to Lateral Entry ICD (2nd year) in addition to 10th passed as above, must have passed full time 2 years ITI course/Certificate/10+2 (vocational) in relevant trade with 50% marks (45% SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD) from Govt./Semi Govt Institute along with 2 years industrial experience from Govt./Semi Govt. and Private Industry of repute. The admission will be through All India SLIET entrance Test (SET-IA).
For B.E. Programme:

  • entry through JEE (Main) → JoSAA / CSAB
  • entry through SET-III (for Diploma holders)
For Integrated M.Tech Programme:

  • entry through JEE (Main) → JoSAA / CSAB
  • entry through SET-III (for Diploma holders)
For Integrated M.Sc. Programme:

  • entry through JEE (Main)/PUCET(UG)/CUCET(UG)/NEET/SET-II
For M.Sc. Programme:

  • entry through CCMN/SET-IV
For MBA Programme:

  • entry through CAT/CMAT/GATE/SET-IV
For M.Tech. Programme:

  • entry through CCMT/ SET-VII
For Ph.D. Programme:

  • entry through GATE/SET-V
